Stand watch (2/3)

To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
