| You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. | How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was beneficial, and teaching you publicly and from house to house. |
| The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. | Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
