Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. | Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. |
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. | He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. |
