Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.
“All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence.And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside.But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside.
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.
First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.
I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
If you love me, obey my commandments.If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah

If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
