O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. Psalm 31:1	In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me. righteousness redeemer dependence
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12	Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity. faith love life

Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.” Genesis 1:29	And God said, “Behold, I give you every plant that produces seeds upon the earth and every tree that has fruit with its seed inside of it: these shall be your food.” food life fruitfulness
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. James 1:5	If someone among you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to him. wisdom receiving generosity
I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. My desire is to depart and to be with Christ, for that is far better, but, it is a more urgent need for you that I remain in the body. death life
Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. Romans 13:8	Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law. law love debt
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16:11	You will show me the path to life; you will fill me with joy in your presence and everlasting delights at your right hand. joy life nearness
So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help. Isaiah 30:18	But even so the Lord is waiting to be gracious to you, and he will rise up to grant you his compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. grace righteousness patience
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. 1 Peter 3:14	Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables. But you must never eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it. Genesis 9:3-4	Whatever moves and has life will be used for your food. I give you all these things, just as I have already given you every green plant. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin. Leviticus 5:17	When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt. sin law punishment
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Matthew 6:26	Gaze upon the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of far greater value than they? valuable trust Father
Then Peter said, “Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself. The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren’t lying to us but to God!” Acts 5:3-4	Then Peter asked, “Ananias, why has Satan so gained control of your heart that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the sale price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not belong to you? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds yours? What caused you to contrive this scheme? And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! James 3:10	Out of the same mouth flow blessings and curses. This should not be so, my brethren. sin speaking worship
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 1 John 2:15	Do not love the world or what is in the world. If anyone does love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. sin love Father
Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. Psalm 31:16	Let your face shine upon your servant; save me in your kindness. blessing love salvation
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. Psalm 31:19	How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people. trust fear blessing
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11	For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope. planning blessing hope
Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord. Psalm 25:6-7	Be mindful, O Lord, that mercy and kindness have been yours from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my many transgressions, but remember me in your kindness, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord. sin mercy goodness
You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the Lord’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live. Leviticus 23:3	For six days work can be done, but the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, a holy assembly. And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. Luke 12:22b-23	Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat, or about your body and what you will wear. Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Romans 15:7	Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you. Jesus worship neighbor
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 2 Peter 3:9	The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance. salvation patience conversion

But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does.
