For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. | Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you. |

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. | Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. |
You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. | How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house. |
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. | Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. |
If you love me, keep my commands. | If you love Me, keep My commandments. |
For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. | For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. |
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. | And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. |
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. | You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. |
Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. | You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess. |
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. | Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. |
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. | Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. |
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. | Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. |
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” | O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” |
Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. | But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. |
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. | O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. |
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. | I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. |
So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? | Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? |
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. | And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. |
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. | And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. |
For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you. | For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you. |
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you. | You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. | O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. |
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. | This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. |
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. | For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps. |
