Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.

Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart.
Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.

Let them return to the Lord so that he may have mercy upon them; and to our God, for he is rich in forgiveness.
If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.
When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.Whenever you fast, do not assume a gloomy expression like the hypocrites who contort their faces so that others may realize that they are fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.The brother who is in modest circumstances should take pride in being raised up. Likewise, the one who is rich should glory in being brought low, for he will disappear like a flower of the field.
Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.A fool takes no pleasure in understanding but only delights in expressing his own opinions.
So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.Then, after completing their fasting and prayer, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.
Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their parents.
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”For: “If anyone wishes to love life and to experience good days, he must restrain his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.”
The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it a wall too high to scale.The wealth of a rich man is his stronghold; he regards it as a high wall that cannot be scaled.

But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth.
