He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.And if then my people who bear my name humble themselves and pray to me and seek my presence as they turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land.
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.
Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.If anyone thinks that he is religious but does not restrain his tongue, he is deceiving himself, and his religion is worthless.
No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.
And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.God gave the midwives numerous families because they had feared God.

Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.
