Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.For in much wisdom is much vexation, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.
“Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?”Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?
Who will repay each person according to his deeds.He will render to each one according to his works.
Realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.Understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment.It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.
Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.
And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
One who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But one who is careless of conduct will die.Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life; he who despises his ways will die.
For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
A fool always loses his temper, But a wise person holds it back.A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.
The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

A fool does not delight in understanding, But in revealing his own mind.A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
