For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19	That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. sin salvation Jesus
I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. The rich think of their wealth as a strong defense; they imagine it to be a high wall of safety. Proverbs 18:11	A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his imagination. money materialism
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Psalm 15:2-3	He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend. truth blameless gossip
Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back. Proverbs 29:11	A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back. anger wisdom self-control
You must not exploit a widow or an orphan. If you exploit them in any way and they cry out to me, then I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will blaze against you, and I will kill you with the sword. Then your wives will be widows and your children fatherless. Exodus 22:22-24	You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers. 1 John 4:21	And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. law love friendship
Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent. Proverbs 17:28	Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent. speaking wisdom mind
Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words. Ecclesiastes 10:12	The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him. speaking wisdom
Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. Ezekiel 18:23	Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? conversion life death
Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people. Proverbs 11:3	The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them. reliability honesty
Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions. Proverbs 18:2	A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. speaking wisdom selfishness
Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11	He has made everything beautiful in its time. The rich can pay a ransom for their lives, but the poor won’t even get threatened. Proverbs 13:8	The ransom of a man's life is his wealth, but a poor man hears no threat. money materialism fear
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Proverbs 30:5	Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. truth Word of God protection
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:9-10	So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. sabbath rest work
Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean! Micah 7:19	He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. compassion sin forgiveness
