When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it.When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened.
So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they will be praised by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward.
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ.And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.
If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever!Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.

He has risen; He is not here; see, here is the place where they laid Him.”He said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised. He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”On one occasion, while they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for me to do the work to which I have called them.”
And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common.
Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them. They will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.
The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.The love of the Lord is never exhausted, nor do his deeds of mercy ever come to an end. They are renewed every morning; his faithfulness never ceases.

My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments; For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.My son, do not forget my teaching, but cherish my commandments in your heart, for they will bring you length of days, more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity.
