Bible Verses about 'They'

  • As they had their pasture, they became satisfied,
    And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud;
    Therefore they forgot Me.
  • But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.
  • Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves waist coverings.
  • Yet those who wait for the Lord
    Will gain new strength;
    They will mount up with wings like eagles,
    They will run and not get tired,
    They will walk and not become weary.
  • And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.
  • Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
  • Then, when they had fasted, prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
  • For the customs of the peoples are futile;
    For it is wood cut from the forest,
    The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool.
    They decorate the idol with silver and gold;
    They fasten it with nails and hammers
    So that it will not totter.
    They are like a scarecrow in a cucumber field,
    And they cannot speak;
    They must be carried,
    Because they cannot walk!
    Do not fear them,
    For they can do no harm,
    Nor can they do any good.
  • Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
  • “Come now, and let us debate your case,”

  • When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
  • And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.
  • Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
  • Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?
  • Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!

    For they are the joy of my heart.

    But with many counselors they succeed.
