  • As they had their pasture, they became satisfied,
    And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud;
    Therefore they forgot Me.
  • But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.
  • Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves waist coverings.
  • And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

    Will gain new strength;
    They will mount up with wings like eagles,

    The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool.
    They decorate the idol with silver and gold;
    They fasten it with nails and hammers
    So that it will not totter.
    They are like a scarecrow in a cucumber field,
    And they cannot speak;
    They must be carried,
    Because they cannot walk!
    Do not fear them,
    For they can do no harm,
    Nor can they do any good.
  • “Come now, and let us debate your case,”
    Says the Lord,
    “Though your sins are as scarlet,
    They shall become as white as snow;
    Though they are red like crimson,
    They shall be like wool.”
  • Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
  • Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
  • But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought that it was a ghost, and they cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.”

  • Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
  • My son, do not forget my teaching,
    But have your heart comply with my commandments;
    For length of days and years of life
    And peace they will add to you.
  • “And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”
  • That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
