  • According to their pasture, so were they filled;
    they were filled, and their heart was exalted.
    Therefore they have forgotten me.

    They are like a palm tree, of turned work,
    and don’t speak.
    They must be carried,
    because they can’t move.
    Don’t be afraid of them;
    for they can’t do evil,
    neither is it in them to do good.
  • See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
  • They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him. They braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

  • In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
  • When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they spoke with other languages and prophesied.
  • Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
  • Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!
  • Blessed are the peacemakers,
    for they shall be called children of God.
  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they shall be filled.
  • Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
  • I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever,
    for they are the joy of my heart.
  • They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
  • Where there is no counsel, plans fail;
    but in a multitude of counselors they are established.
  • The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.
  • Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
