- He has satisfied the thirsty
and filled the hungry with good things. - On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” - But whoever drinks the water that I will give him
will never be thirsty.
The water that I will give him
will become a spring of water within him
welling up to eternal life. - I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah - O God, you are my God,
for whom I have been searching earnestly.
My soul yearns for you
and my body thirsts for you,
like the earth when it is parched,
arid and without water. - They will never again experience hunger or thirst,
nor will the sun or any scorching heat cause them discomfort.
For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd.
He will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard? And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.Next verse! With image
