Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”
