| By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. | By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. |
| And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. | They set up over his head the accusation against him written, “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.” |
| Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. | Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! |
| For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. | For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |
| Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. | Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. |
| And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. | This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. |
| This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. | This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. |
| Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. | Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus. |
| Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. | Then I saw all the labor and achievement that is the envy of a man’s neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind. |
| For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. | For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. |
| This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. | This also comes out from Yahweh of Armies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom. |
| Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. | Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. |
| Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. | Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire. |
