Over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” | And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. |
Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth. | Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. |
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends. | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |

And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. | And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. |
This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble. | This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. |
For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. | For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. |
This also comes from the Lord of hosts; he is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom. | This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. |
In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets. | Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. |

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |
