Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them. Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes? But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9	However, those who want riches fall into temptations and are trapped into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. money greed materialism
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to keep an eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses, in opposition to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them. Romans 16:17	I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them. holiness community evil
O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him. Psalm 34:8	Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. God blessing rest
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly.
