- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?Next verse!With image
