- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Next verse!With image
