- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
- Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
