- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal faithfully are His delight. - For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who wait for His faithfulness. - It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
- But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
- Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
