Trust and obey (2/4)

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.”
The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.Do not let your hearts be troubled. You place your trust in God. Trust also in me.
You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. When you look at the tassels, you will remember the commandments of the Lord and keep them. Thus you will not prostitute yourselves by following after the lusts in your own heart or your own eyes.
Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.Every word of God has proved to be true; he is a shield to those who trust in him.
But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. But from everlasting to everlasting the kindness of the Lord is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children, with those who keep his covenant and diligently observe his commandments.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world.
Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord. You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord.
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.Instruct those who are rich in this world’s goods that they should not be proud, nor should they trust in the uncertainty of riches but rather in God who richly provides us with everything we need for our enjoyment.
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. The fear of others will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is secure.
The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. They will be like a tree planted by the water that spreads out its roots to the stream. When the heat comes, it does not fear; its leaves stay green. It is not concerned in a year of drought, and it never fails to bear fruit.
As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.The way of God is blameless, and the Lord’s promise proves true; he is a shield to all who flee to him for safety.
As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.
Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. The one who pays heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart places its trust in him. He has helped me, and I exult; then with my song I praise him.
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I love you, O Lord, my strength, O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. This is the end of my teaching. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for that is the responsibility of everyone.

For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. If you obey the command that I give you today, to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways, and to observe his commandments, statutes, and decrees, then you will live and multiply, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
