- Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
- Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,

- And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him. - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
- The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity. - Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.
