- Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. - If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - But I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me. - Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - What is desired in a man is kindness,
And a poor man is better than a liar. - Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin. - He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
- He who follows righteousness and mercy
Finds life, righteousness, and honor. - And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
- If you love Me, keep My commandments.
- Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth. - We love Him because He first loved us.
- Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life.Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.Next verse!With image
