- Commit your deeds to Yahweh,
and your plans shall succeed. - Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
- Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- So teach us to count our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
- A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- For Yahweh says to the house of Israel:
“Seek me, and you will live.” - Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.”
- I acknowledged my sin to you.
I didn’t hide my iniquity.
I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh,
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
- Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
- Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.
- He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
- Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous.
His ears listen to their cry. - But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer.
- The entrance of your words gives light.
It gives understanding to the simple. - Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever. - That I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.
- Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!
- Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name!
Make his doings known among the peoples. - Yahweh is near to all those who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation.”
