| The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. | The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous. |

| The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” | For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. | As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. |
