| And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” | As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? | I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. | In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away! |

| For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. | Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. |

Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. |
| This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. | This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. |
| A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. | Giving a gift can open doors; it gives access to important people! |
| Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance. | Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. |
