Bible Verses about 'Wealth&p=2'

Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats. The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.
House and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the Lord.
The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.A rich person’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination.
Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle, but those who gather little by little will increase it.Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.
The lover of money will not be satisfied with money; nor the lover of wealth, with gain. This also is vanity. One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.
As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing. And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.

Bible verse of the day

Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things.
