Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. | For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. |
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. | But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. |

But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak.
