| What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before? | Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? |

| The blessing of the Lord is what brings wealth, and our toil adds nothing to it. | Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. |
| Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil. | Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil. |
| What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
| Prepare in advance what you want to say, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Take away all guilt and give us what is good, so that we may present as offerings the bullocks from our stalls.” | Take words with you, and return to Yahweh. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.” |
| See what love the Father has bestowed on us, enabling us to be called the children of God, and that is what we are. If the world does not recognize us, that is because it did not know him. | See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him. |
| What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not! | What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! |

| You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised. | For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise. |
| Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen. | Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. |

| Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ. | Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day, which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s. |
| Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?” | So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” |
| Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it. | Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again. |
| Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time. | Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. |
| This is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. | In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. |
