So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.
Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’“Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed,” ’ ” declares the Lord God.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.But just as it is written: “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel: “Seek Me so that you may live.”
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”Who will repay each person according to his deeds.
You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness?
