So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live.”
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”Who “will render to each one according to his deeds”
You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
