He who guards his mouth makes his life secure, but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

He said to them in reply, “Anyone who has two coats must share with the person who has none, and whoever has food must do likewise.”He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but those who counsel peace have joy.Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior, one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.Who will render to every man according to his deeds.

When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
I can do all things in him who strengthens me.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
To those who seek after glory and honor and immortality by persevering in good works, he will grant eternal life.To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.
Dear children, you are from God and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Bless those who persecute you; bless them and do not curse them.Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
