| To those who seek after glory and honor and immortality by persevering in good works, he will grant eternal life. | To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. |

| Who has performed these deeds and accomplished this? Who has summoned the nations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am the first, and I will be there with the last. | Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. |
