| Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. | Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. |
| One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city. | He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. |
| He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. | He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. |
| Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart. | Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. |

| He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding shall find good. | He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good. |
| Those who are in the flesh can’t please God. | So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. |
| But he who endures to the end will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. |

| To those who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life. | To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. |
