He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’
The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever.
But he who endures to the end will be saved.But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.
He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding shall find good.To get wisdom is to love oneself; to keep understanding is to prosper.
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.
In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but the prudent are restrained in speech.
I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture.I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
He who covers an offense promotes love; but he who repeats a matter separates best friends.One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same intention (for whoever has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin).
One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.
If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.
The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water.

Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint.Like a city breached, without walls, is one who lacks self-control.
