- Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken. - And a highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it. - But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. - The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
- But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
- I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. - ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ - Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.
- But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
- The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
- Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
- The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
- Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
- Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
- The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. - She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
- He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.
- But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. - ‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will frown on you no longer,
for I am faithful,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will not be angry forever.’ - Diligent hands will rule,
but laziness ends in forced labor. - When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
- “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.Next verse!With image
