- I will not leave you orphans;
I will come to you. - Even when you reach old age
I will still be the same.
Even when your hair is gray,
I will still carry you.
I have made you and I will uphold you;
I will carry you and save you. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord.

into the depths of the sea. - And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate
to be with you forever. - For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.
- I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back
because I have taken pity on them,
and they will be
as though I had never cast them off;
for I am the Lord, their God,
and I will answer them. - I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. - For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
- I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise will be continually on my lips. - The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior and a savior.
He will rejoice over you with gladness
and renew you through his love.
He will exult over you with shouts of joy. - But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
- A wise man will heed commandments,
but a babbling fool will come to grief. - Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove from your body a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh in its place.
- The people said to Joshua, “We will serve the Lord, our God, and obey his voice.”
- I will make them and the region surrounding my hill a blessing, and I will send them rain in due season that will be showers of blessing.
- There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing secret that will not become known.
- But I with hymns of praise
will offer sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will fulfill.
Salvation comes from the Lord. - Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
- Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.
- Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself;
thus my lips will speak your praise.
I will bless you all my life;

The water that I will give him
will become a spring of water within him
welling up to eternal life. - Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and give you help,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the child to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.”
- For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.
- When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.
- Authority will be granted to the diligent,
but the lazy will be enslaved. - The Lord will become king over the whole earth. When that day comes, he will be the only Lord, and his name will be the only name.
- I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- For where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.
- Therefore, you will be given this sign
by the Lord himself:
The virgin will be with child,
and she will give birth to a son,
and she will name him Immanuel. - For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.
- The Lord will battle for you. Be calm!
