What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.
It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave.Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love.That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.

They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
