However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?
