- In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

- For,
“He who would love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good.
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
- For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
- I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
- With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor,
but the righteous will be delivered through knowledge. - However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.
- Turn at my reproof.
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you.
I will make known my words to you. - For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.
- Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.”
- It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
- Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
- For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
- If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.

- For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.
- You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
- He who covers an offense promotes love;
but he who repeats a matter separates best friends. - He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
- Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- By faith even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised.
- He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
- How I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house.
- The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.”
- To whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.
