What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
