For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God. Titus 2:11-12	For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. grace righteousness salvation
If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. Matthew 16:25	For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. salvation death life

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. Galatians 5:4	You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. righteousness grace law
Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47	So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. Ezekiel 18:23	“Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” conversion life death
As the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18	But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. reliability pride
For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Hebrews 6:10	For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. righteousness work serving
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. Job 23:10-11	But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. blameless righteousness
No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:15-16	Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
