Bible Verses about 'Would'

Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to protect them from the evil one.
Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen, how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles. But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles.
Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. It is better to spend one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in God’s house than dwell inside the tents of the wicked.
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him.
Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. In everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you. This is the Law and the Prophets.
But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’The tax collector, however, stood some distance away and would not even raise his eyes to heaven. Rather, he kept beating his breast as he said, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner.’
Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to my Father for help and he will not immediately send me more than twelve legions of angels?
For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Christ Jesus.”Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.Does it now appear to you that I am trying to gain the approval of human beings rather than the approval of God? Am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.”For: “If anyone wishes to love life and to experience good days, he must restrain his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.”
He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast.
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.For the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to the entire human race. It teaches us to reject godless ways and worldly desires, and in the present age to lead lives that are temperate, just, and godly.
Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.”Jesus answered them, “Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to this fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be accomplished.”
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
