And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.He cried out, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” And with these words he breathed his last.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!If you, then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.A cheerful heart is excellent medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but an undisciplined tongue crushes the spirit.
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.Hence, I advise you to be guided by the Spirit, so that you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the Spirit, and those of the Spirit are opposed to the flesh. They are in conflict with one another, so that you cannot do what you want.
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.In the same way, even the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs that cannot be put into words.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove from your body a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh in its place.

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.Stay awake and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you.
I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days, where he was tempted by the devil. During that time he ate nothing, and at the end of it he was famished.
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”
