| Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions. | Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. |

| Now who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good? | And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? |
| Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. | Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. |

| Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord. | Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. |
| Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. | This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |
| There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling. | There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. |
