| If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. | If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. |
| For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. | For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. |
| I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. | I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. |
| If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. | If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. |

| If you love Me, keep My commandments. | If ye love me, keep my commandments. |
| By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |
| By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. | By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. |
| And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. | And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. |
| The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. | The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. |
| You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves. | Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. |
| Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. | Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. |

| Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? | Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? |
