| And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. | Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive. |

| O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” | I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” |
| If you love Me, keep My commandments. | If you love me, you will keep my commandments. |
| To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities. | When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways. |
| You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess. | Continue in all of the ways that the Lord, your God, has commanded you. Continue in them so that you may live and prosper and that you may long dwell on the land of your inheritance. |
| Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. | Call to me and I will answer you and reveal to you great and mysterious secrets about which you are unaware. |
| And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. | Those who revere your name place their trust in you, for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. |
| Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. | Seek good and not evil, so that you may live. Then the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you as you claim he is. |
| And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. | Do not be afraid or dismayed, the Lord will go before you; he will not fail or forsake you. |
| You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. | O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast because of their trust in you. |
| And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. | When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart. |
| For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. | For you, O God, have put us to the test; you have purified us as silver is refined. |
| O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. | O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. My soul yearns for you and my body thirsts for you, like the earth when it is parched, arid and without water. |
| Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. | If you would seriously consider my reproof, I would pour out my thoughts to you and make my precepts known to you. |
| Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. | When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you. |

| You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. | You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you. |
| So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” | “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” |
