| “For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed, but my loving kindness will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you. | For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. |
| But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked. | But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. | He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again? | He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. |
| For nothing spoken by God is impossible. | For with God nothing shall be impossible. |
| Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’ | Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God. |
| Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. | Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. |
| Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. | Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. |
| When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. | I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth. | I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. |
| Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. | Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. |
| Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. | Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. |
| For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us. | For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. |
| Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. | And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. |
| In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness. | In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. |
| I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. There will never again be a flood to destroy the earth. | And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. |
| What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
