Blood of Jesus (3/4)

  • To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
  • If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
  • And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
  • Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.”
  • Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
  • On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
  • But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
  • But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him.
  • And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
  • But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
  • But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
  • And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
  • We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
  • Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
  • For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
  • He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
  • For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
  • Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
  • For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
  • Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
  • Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
  • Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Bible verse of the day

The Lord watches over the sojourners;
he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
